ABSTRACT
The purpose of this writing is to describe the contribution of drawing teaching in overcoming the elementary school student’s psychosocial crisis. The discussion of this writing refers to two main theoretical concepts, i.e. drawing teaching concept, especially in elementary school instructional process, and psychosocial concept. The drawing development stage of the elementary students are in pre-schematic stage, schematic stage, dawning realism stage; whereas the psychosocial level of elementary students in forth level namely industry versus inferiority level. It can be conclude that drawing teaching can be used as an effective media to overcome the elementary school student’s psychosocial crisis, especially crisis in industry versus inferiority level.
