ABSTRACT
This article aims at explaining and analyzing the model of ARCS learning which is to be applied in physical education learning process at school. The model is being developed as an alternative which can be used by the teachers of physical education as the basic of running good learning activities. It consists of four related components which are required in learning activites and developed based on the learning theories, they are assurance, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. Teachers can implement it as the basic to run learning activities designed to enhance students’ achievement and motivation to be successful learners. Therefore, implementing the model of ARCS learning in physical education is acceptable, as students are lack of motivation to participate in physical education classes at school lately.
