ABSTRACT
The taks of religious education of children is helping children to know, to celebrate and to contemplate the mystery of Christ, and to initiate and educate children in community life and to mission. It has something to do with the development of children’s faith and all aspects of christian faith, namely, cognitive, affective and behavioural aspects. It involves families, parish communities and schools in religious education of children. There is no one way in religious education of children. Therefore, it needs a holictic approach to religious education of children, it needs a total catechetical education.
